Janie Jones

Ethan, a previous rock musician finds out that he has fathered a 13 year old little girl named Jamie Jones. Jamie’s mother is a drug addict, who decides to leave her daughter under the care of her father in an effort to become sober. The father has a hard time remembering the encounter that he had with the mother, but is forced to remember as the mother has left the child abandoned at one of his rock concerts. Ethan is a borderline alcoholic who is striving to get his band back together, but his attitude lands him in a mess with his band deciding to go their separate ways, leaving his daughter as his only support. A surprising turn of events for Ethan, as he discovers his daughter has musical talents as well. Janie is able to play the guitar and sing as well. These talents were Janie’s way of expressing emotion throughout her childhood. This movie will take you through the ups and downs of the father daughter relationship. In one instance, Janie has to go and bail her father out of jail all on her own, because she is underage she is faced some challenges including driving a car alone, meeting with a bail bondsmen and getting the funds to get her father out of jail. The talents of both father and daughter draw them closer together. This movie is filled with great passion and sorrow, a definite crowd pleaser.
