Miscellaneous: James says that 'Alan Ladd' committed suicide. After protest from the Ladd family, the DVD version has edited out this mention of Ladd's (arguable) suicide (some reports list Ladd's death from cerebral edema) (Reportedly, only the theatrical version has the original mention of Alan Ladd's death.).
Trivia: There are 3 entries in the trivia list – like these:
- Agrado's monologue was based on a real life event. When the electronic system of an Argentinian theater failed, the director suspended the show. Actress Lola Membrives decided to give the news to the audience and make them an offer: if they'd stay, they could listen to the narration of her life.
- Manuela Coleman is a character from Pedro Almodóvar's earlier film, Flor de mi secreto, La (1995).
- Pedro Almodóvar dedicated his movie to Bette Davis, Gena Rowlands and Romy Schneider.
